Calculate each atom's cell volume, surface area, neighbor count and face-order index. Periodic directions use periodic images; other directions are clipped at the simulation cell boundary.

Element types · All atoms

Only checked types contribute atoms and neighbors to the tessellation. Unchecked types keep their atoms in the structure, with no Voronoi values. Display hiding does not affect this selection.

Count faces only when they exceed both thresholds. Filters change neighbor counts and indices; volumes and surface areas retain the full geometry. Cell boundary faces are reported separately from neighbors.

Atom radius Shared with Display % Select an atom to inspect its cell. All-cell display is off.

Click an atom in the viewport, or select its ID in Atom details, to highlight its cell. Reduce the atom radius to see the faces and edges more clearly. See-through shows every cell and fades deeper ones; Nearest surface hides faces and edges behind the nearest cells. Lower Cell scale to shrink each cell toward its atom and separate neighbors; statistics are unchanged. Showing all cells builds additional display geometry and uses more memory.

Indices describe face topology, not a unique crystal type. Use CNA or PTM to identify crystal structures.

Face areas

Face areas count each neighboring cell's side of a shared face. Boundary faces are excluded. Hover, tap, or use the bin slider to inspect counts and percentages.

All face-order indices

The index ⟨n3,n4,n5,n6,…⟩ counts neighbor faces with 3, 4, 5, 6, … edges. Small-face filters affect these counts.

Individual face data

Export every cell face with its atom ID, neighbor or boundary label, area and edge count.
